On the morning of June 25, 2026, Ms. Som Yat, Financial and Administration officer of PPCIL, participated in the National Consultation Workshop on the “Regional Research Findings on the Implementation of the Post-2025 ASEAN Master Plan,” held at Sunway Hotel.
The workshop was presided over by H.E. Yeab Malyno, Director General of Social Affairs Policy and the high-level representative of H.E. Souny Vongviseth, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation.
Objective:
The workshop aimed to:
- Gather inputs from government institutions, United Nations agencies, Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), and civil society organizations on the implementation of the Post-2025 ASEAN Master Plan.
- Seek recommendations from civil society organizations to strengthen the implementation of ASEAN frameworks and recommendations on Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI).
- Develop policy recommendations and strategic directions to support the effective implementation and monitoring mechanisms of the Post-2025 ASEAN Master Plan.
